How much does custom solid wood furniture cost?
It depends on the piece and wood species. Nightstands start around $175 USD, bookshelves from $350 USD, TV units from $550 USD, bars or credenzas from $700 USD, and a full bedroom set from $1,800 USD. Send us a reference photo and rough measurements for an exact quote.
Can you ship custom furniture to the US or Canada?
Yes. We’ve shipped pieces to clients in Portland, OR and other US cities using tracked, secure freight. You’ll have a tracking number from pickup to delivery, and we include the shipping cost transparently in your written quote.
What types of wood do you work with for custom furniture?
Parota, oak, walnut, mahogany, tzalam, cumaru and pine — the widest selection of any of our services. We help you choose based on the style of your home, your budget, and how the piece will be used.
Do you install furniture in Guadalajara, or just for shipping clients?
Both. If you have a property in Guadalajara, Zapopan, Tlaquepaque or the surrounding ZMG, our team delivers and installs in person at no extra cost. We do this regularly for clients with second homes or vacation properties in the area.
Can you match new furniture to doors or cabinets you already built for us?
Yes, and it’s a common request. If we built your doors, kitchen or closets, we can match the same wood species and finish for new furniture pieces — nightstands, TV units or bookshelves that look like they were always part of the same project.
How long does it take to build custom furniture?
Between 3 and 6 weeks depending on the piece and complexity. A simple nightstand can be ready in 2-3 weeks. A full bedroom set typically takes 5-6 weeks. We commit to a written delivery date before any deposit, whether for local installation or shipping.
Is the furniture really solid wood, not a wood-look laminate?
Yes, always 100% solid wood — never laminate, MDF or veneer over particleboard. This is true across every service we offer, not just furniture.
Do you charge customs or import fees for shipping to the US?
We handle the export documentation, but any import duties or customs fees on your end are determined by US or Canadian customs, not by us. We’ll let you know what to expect based on past shipments to your destination.
Can I see examples of furniture you've made before ordering?
Yes. We can send you photos of past projects in the wood and style you’re considering, including the bedroom and TV unit pieces shipped to Portland and the bar and bookshelf built for the Puerto Vallarta condo mentioned in our reviews.
Do you work with interior designers furnishing properties remotely?
