Approximate prices at current exchange rates: exterior wood doors from $800 USD, interior doors from $450 USD, custom kitchen cabinets from $1,500 USD, built-in closets from $1,000 USD, walk-in closets from $2,000 USD, wood stair treads from $30 USD per stair, bathroom vanities from $175 USD and custom furniture from $175 USD. Between 3 and 8 weeks depending on the project. A single door can be ready in 2-3 weeks. A full kitchen takes 6-8 weeks. A closet project typically 3-5 weeks. We always commit to a specific delivery date in writing before you pay the deposit — and we honor it.

We install throughout the Guadalajara metro area — Guadalajara, Zapopan, Tlaquepaque, Tonalá and Tlajomulco — without additional travel fees. For Ajijic, Chapala and the Lake Chapala area we also install, with a travel fee that we include in the quote from the start. Puerto Vallarta and other locations outside the ZMG are evaluated case by case.

We work with parota (Mexican guanacaste — a warm-toned, uniquely grained hardwood), oak (encino), walnut (nogal), tzalam, pink rosewood (rosa morada) and pine. Parota and oak are our most requested for doors and kitchens. Oak is the hardest wood we work with — ideal for high-traffic pieces. For vacation homes and rental properties we often recommend oak for durability.

100% solid wood — no exceptions. We never use MDF, melamine or vinyl wrapping in any of our projects. MDF absorbs humidity and deteriorates at the edges within 3-5 years. Solid wood, properly treated, lasts decades. This is the most important difference between Madetza and most carpentry companies in the Guadalajara market.

Yes, and we encourage it. Our workshop is in Etzatlán, Jalisco — about 45 minutes from Guadalajara. If you’re visiting Guadalajara, come see our projects in process and the wood samples firsthand. If you can’t visit in person, we’re happy to do a video call tour of the workshop so you can see exactly how we work.

Yes. All kitchen projects include a 1-year written warranty covering any fabrication or installation defect — the only carpentry company in the ZMG that offers this in writing. For other projects, we stand behind our work and resolve any issue that arises from fabrication or installation at no additional cost.

Absolutely. Many of our clients living abroad coordinate through their property manager, architect or interior designer in Guadalajara. We’re used to working as part of a team. Just introduce us via WhatsApp and we take it from there — measurements, site visits, installation coordination and final delivery confirmation.
